Analytical Balances

The analytical balance is an extremely accurate way of weighing samples, with a precision of 0.1 mg or even better. It is often simply called a “lab balance” for its ubiquity in professional laboratories. Unlike less precise balances, the analytical balance is equipped with a draft shield enclosure to prevent dust or air currents from interfering with measurement.
