Cylinders

Laboratory cylinders are manufactured in a wide array of types and materials. All are designed to store liquid in a space-saving way, typically for the purpose of measurement and measured transfer.

Most lab cylinders are graduated. Graduated cylinders are typically manufactured in plastic, such as polypropylene or PMP, but are also manufactured in glass, often borosilicate (including Borosil®).

For labs requiring ASTM specifications, graduated cylinders are available in both Class A and Class B varieties. Certification is a common requirement, and for that purpose cylinders with batch and individual certification are provided.
