Bench & Floor Scales
Bench and floor scales are laboratory instruments designed to measure objects, typically by weight. Bench & floor scales different from smaller units (such as precision or analytical balances) in that they are usually designed to less precisely measure heavier objects. Unsurprisingly, bench scales are designed to be set on a bench, while floor scales are placed on the floor, although overlap exists. Some models of both types of scales can be attached to an indicator, which depicts on a screen the results of the scale’s measurements.
