Bubblers

Lab glassware bubblers are components that prevent a liquid (usually mineral oil) from "backflowing" into the prior components in the glass system. Bubblers typically have hose connections as their intake opening, often with a built-in stopcock so that the inflow can be halted as desired. In chemistry glass applications, bubblers are used to prevent the cleanup or contamination that results from unwanted backflow.
