Quick, precise and reproducible

The digital dry block heaters with precision heating blocks ensure highly accurate and reproducible results, guaranteeing short heating times. The bright, easy-to-read LED display facilitates straightforward setting of the required temperature and accurate monitoring of the actual temperature. Excellent temperature uniformity and stability is ensured throughout operation. The included PT 1000.60 temperature sensor made of stainless steel enables continuous monitoring and control of the temperature in the sample vessels, and the blocks are removed with a small tool also included in the delivery.

Flexible through modular heating blocks

IKA dry block heaters are highly versatile, with each model accepting separate interchangeable modular heating blocks. They can accommodate various sample inserts including centrifuge tubes, test tubes, vials, microtiter plates and PCR tubes or strips. Each block features a thermometer well for measuring the block temperature, and anodized aluminum blocks provide superior temperature stability and heat transfer.

Digital block heater for one aluminum block

The digital block heater for one aluminum block provides precise temperature control in small vessels. The included PT 1000 temperature sensor allows temperature control directly in the sample vessel. It is used with PCR tubes, PCR strips, Greiner tubes, microplates and cuvettes, and is ideal for melting and boiling point determination, enzyme reactions, incubation and activation of cultures, immunoassays, DNA denaturation, culture media tests, coagulation tests, blood-urea-nitrogen determinations and in situ hybridizations.

Features

The dry block heater offers stepless adjustable temperature control up to 120 °C and is highly versatile with a large number of compatible blocks. A countdown timer adjustable from 1 minute to 99 hours 59 minutes, together with a counter function for displaying heating time, supports precise control of time-sensitive processes. An error code display and fixed safety circuit ensure safe operation at all times, and an acoustic signal alerts the user at the end of each test.
