Syringe Filters
Syringe filters are designed to remove particles from samples prior to sensitive analysis. Filters are attached to the end of a syringe; when the sample is drawn, the filter captures unwanted particulates. For this reason, syringe filters are highly popular for applications that perform sensitive analysis on samples (such as HPLC).
Syringe filters are manufactured in several varieties for use in different applications. Particle retention pores are usually 0.22 or 0.45 microns. Numerous materials are available to ensure proper resistance to the sample.
EZFlow is a premier brand for syringe filtration, offering filters in both bulk and individual (sterile) packaging.
