RV 10 auto V Starter Solution / RV 10 auto pro V-C Complete

The RV 10 auto V Starter Solution and RV 10 auto pro V-C Complete are complete packages for your rotary evaporator setup. Both packages include the heating bath HB digital with a capacity of 4 liters and a heating temperature range of RT to 180 °C, a vacuum pump, and the recirculating chiller RC 2 lite. All components and connections required for operation are included.

RV 10 auto rotary evaporator

The RV 10 auto is the flagship of the IKA rotary evaporator product line. It impresses with its innovative and intuitive operation via a brilliant TFT color graphic display, an integrated vacuum controller, cooling water monitoring and sophisticated safety standards. The RV 10 auto offers all the characteristics required for efficient, safe and economical operation, including the automatic regulation of vacuum and cooling water. The individually adjustable cleaning cycle of the vacuum controller reduces the maintenance interval and at the same time extends the service life of the system.

Thanks to specially designed glass guides, the transparently coated vertical condenser with 3 cooling coils uses the 1500 cm² cooling surface extremely efficiently. The RV 10 auto allows users to carry out individual processes via the extended programming of ramps. Other innovative features such as soft start, clockwise and anticlockwise rotation in intermittent operation, and a timer function for controlling time sequences make everyday laboratory work easier.

Safety is ensured by the motorized lift with a 'safety-stop' function that automatically lifts the evaporation flask out of the heating bath in the event of a power failure. Individually adjustable safety temperature circuits, dry run protection, adjustable end position detection to protect against glass breakage, and a locking function further ensure user safety. The USB or RS232 interface allows remote control using IKA software labworldsoft® and the option of updating using the Firmware Update Tool.

Vacuum pump options

The RV 10 auto V Starter Solution includes the VACSTAR lite vacuum pump, which is extremely space-saving and achieves a minimum vacuum of 9 mbar. The RV 10 auto pro V-C Complete is instead equipped with the more advanced VACSTAR digital vacuum pump, achieving a deeper minimum vacuum of 2 mbar for more demanding applications. Both pumps are controlled directly by the RV 10 auto drive unit using the supplied data cable and enable automatic boiling point detection.

Glassware options

The RV 10 auto V Starter Solution includes the RV 10.900 standard vertical glassware set, while the RV 10 auto pro V-C Complete is supplied with the RV 10.910 coated vertical glassware set, offering enhanced chemical resistance for more demanding distillation processes.

RC 2 lite recirculating chiller

Both packages include the compact RC 2 lite recirculating chiller, which offers a strong 400 watt cooling capacity and a powerful pressure and suction pump (0.35 bar), designed for simple cooling tasks down to -10 °C. The easily accessible and easy-to-clean mesh filter made of stainless steel ensures a consistently high cooling performance for years. Thanks to the natural refrigerant R290, the RC 2 lite is particularly environmentally friendly and well prepared for the future.

Warranty

By registering your devices online at www.ika.com/register, you can extend the warranty of your products free of charge. For rotary evaporators and heating baths, the standard warranty is two years, plus three additional years after registration (2+3). For peripheral devices included in the package such as the vacuum pump and chiller, the additional warranty is one year (2+1).
